On July 12, 2025 New California conducted its second “Principled” vote in 26 precincts with the voters overwhelmingly supporting the New California State Constitution. On August 2, 2025 voters in California had 44 precincts representing 58 Counties.
The 1st Election on July 12, 2025 had limited preparation time but turned into a major success. The 2nd Election on August 2, 2025 was given two weeks to prepare and the number of voters increased by 72% which included multiple precincts in multiple counties.
The preliminary voting day is designed to gauge support for the New California State proposed state constitution. The vote was held “in principle”, meaning participants are being asked to approve the general framework and direction of the proposed constitution, not to adopt it into law. According to a press release, the same constitution was passed internally by the group’s self-organized Constitutional Delgeates, Senate and Assembly on July 1 during its 13th Constitutional Convention in Visalia, California.
The Elections gave an opportunity to to the citizens to vote to determine if the New California State’s Constitution meets the following “Guarantees”:
Article IV Section 4 of the United States Constitution states:
The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.
New California State’s Constitution under its Bill of Rights and Article II, Section 5 guarantees consistency of state action with the Federal Constitution.
NEW CALIFORNIA STATE “LIMITED” PRINCIPLE VOTE
Article IV Section 4 of the United States is known as the “Guarantee Clause” and is a fundamental Article of the Compact between the United States and the States. In order to become a member of the Union of States known as the United States a compacted state must provide the same three elements to the American Citizens in their state. California State FAILS to provide American Citizens in California a republican form of government, freedom from invasion and freedom from domestic violence.
Below is the Ballot and results from AUGUST 2, 2025

The State of California and many candidates for governor are staying away from the California State movement because the two elections were in person, use paper ballots with one chain of custody, hand counted with the public watching and the results announced the same day. Results for the August 2, 2025 New California State Election were posted at 9:30 pm August 2, 2025.
One California County San Benito grew so concerned over the New California State election and went so far as to warn the public. See below:

Easy Breezy!
Seamless experience. Thank you for all your efforts and help.!
Very well organized. Simple, efficient. Thank you for all work, excellent & work on our behalf.
I love using one day voting. One day, one count, knowing what the count is by the same night or next day, not three week to a month later.
I love the attention to detail and verification of identity ! A good goal for the future.
Thank you !
Good experience
Like the Old Days. Well done.
I voted against all 3 contests. I support the issue, but believe they are laws that fit within the Bill of Rights.
Thank you for your time and efforts in conducting this hand-count election.
The entire process was well done!
I appreciate that we have the opportunity to prove that we can respectfully vote by using paper and getting it done in one day.
Paper Ballots! Transparency! HOORAH! Real Voting!

This is terrific! Paper ballots! One day counting. Just like ole days-when I knew my vote counted. Thank you.
Voters were excited to come and vote in person. They took the time to really read the ballot statements. Impressed with the depth of the questions and were in agreement. Everyone brought their proof of ID and proof of residency. Wish more had been available to participate, but many new people from the first two elections. Precinct Worker.
