California is Imploding Under Radical Governor Newsom and Marxist Democrats

AENN

California headlines this past week and weekend don’t look good for the once Golden State with California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass losing control over the riots and anarchy in Los Angeles.

Riotous mobs even invaded a federal detention facility in downtown Los Angeles. According to the federal Department of Homeland Security, more than 1,000 rioters surrounded the building and assaulted ICE officers, whose “family members have been doxed and targeted as well.”

Horrific headlines:

Independent journalist Nick Sortor posted this to X Sunday:

More headlines:

Fox News warned us Friday what was already taking place with criminal illegal immigrant arrests in Los Angeles:

Federal immigration authorities said some of the migrants arrested in the Los Angeles area last week had criminal histories that included assault and drug offenses.

Nearly 45 people were arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Friday alone, as officers swept through several locations, including two Home Depot stores, a store in the fashion district and a doughnut shop, prompting protests that continued through the weekend against immigration enforcement operations in which officers raided businesses to arrest workers. The weeklong tally of migrant arrests in the city surpassed 100.

At Frontpage Mag, Lloyd Billingsley drilled down even more and named names:

“Those arrested include Rolando Veneracion-Enriquez of the Philippines, whose criminal history includes burglary and intent to commit rape. Ecuadorian national Jose Gregorio Medranda Ortiz was sentenced to more than 11 years in prison for drug trafficking. Mexican national Armando Ordaz is gang member sentenced for sexual battery.

Previously deported Mexican Victor Mendoza-Aguilar is a gang member guilty of assault with a deadly weapon. The criminal histories of Mexican nationals Delfino Aguilar-Martinez, Alan Hernandez-Morales, and Lionel Sanchez-Laguna include assault, discharging firearms in a home, and so forth.

After the arrests, mobs stormed a federal detention facility in downtown Los Angeles. According to the federal Department of Homeland Security (DHS), more than 1,000 rioters surrounded the building and assaulted ICE officers, whose ‘family members have been doxed and targeted as well.’ Gov. Newsom didn’t see it that way.”

Chef Andrew Gruel posted on X, “Los Angeles is being destroyed and the policy makers are encouraging it.”

California Governor Gavin Newsom wrote on social media “Don’t give Trump what he wants.”

Newsom criticized President Trump for exercising his constitutional authority and federalizing the California National Guard and sending them into Los Angeles to help restore order out of the anarchy and chaos. The President was forced to make this move because Gavin Newsom failed to address the anarchy and lawlessness in Los Angeles, and several Sanctuary California cities.

I’m guessing he was busy sipping a lovely Chenin Blanc on the expansive patio overlooking his infinity pool at his $9.1 million six-bedroom home in Kentfield, Marin County, while posting such poppycock to X.

What a jerk. This isn’t governing.

As Dr. Houman Hemmati posted, “The rioters are destroying a large number of @CHP_HQ vehicles!!!!! @CAgovernor @GavinNewsom

YOUR OWN state police are being obliterated. Activate the damn Guard! Soon you’ll have NO police left!”

California is Imploding Under Radical Governor Newsom and Marxist Democrats

Pictures are far more accurate than Gov. Newsom’s politically charged words.

As Kevin Dalton posted to X, “Gavin Newsom: Trump is manufacturing this crisis Karen Bass: People are protesting peacefully Rob Bonta: There is no emergency LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell: We are overwhelmed … There is no limit to what they are doing to our officers.”

“Frustrated with what he calls a ‘Democratic rebellion’ against federal authority, Trump is no longer just criticizing blue-state leaders. He’s taking aim at their budgets, policies, and prejudice against their citizens’ welfare,” Steve Eichler at Canada Free Press said. He continues:

“A federal agency, still unnamed for security reasons, is pulling its personnel from the city. The decision came after Mayor Karen Bass was accused of undermining federal immigration enforcement and prioritizing undocumented immigrants over law and order.

According to a Fox Business report, the agency could “no longer ensure the safety and mission integrity” of its personnel in a city that refuses to cooperate with federal mandates. For Trump supporters, it was a vindication: if California won’t support federal laws, why should federal agencies operate there at all?

Trump to California: Follow or forfeit, and California just may forfeit federal money but still has to deal with federal authority.”

He’s describing the fall of a major American city – a California city under Governor Gavin Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass.

Gov. Gavin Newsom issued a statement Saturday leaving many wondering who is managing him, while simultaneously questioning his lucidity:

“The federal government is moving to take over the California National Guard and deploy 2,000 soldiers. That move is purposefully inflammatory and will only escalate tensions.”

As if tensions weren’t already escalated…

“LA authorities are able to access law enforcement assistance at a moment’s notice. We are in close coordination with the city and county, and there is currently no unmet need.”

“No unmet need?” Really? Ask LAPD about that.

“That move is purposefully inflammatory and will only escalate tensions. LA authorities are able to access law enforcement assistance at a moment’s notice. We are in close coordination with the city and county, and there is currently no unmet need. The Guard has been admirably serving LA throughout recovery. This is the wrong mission and will erode public trust.”

If “LA authorities are able to access law enforcement assistance at a moment’s notice,” why didn’t Mayor Bass deploy every able-bodied law officer in LA City and County? She and Gavin Newsom weren’t in charge of anything.

The easy answer is because Mayor Bass is weak and ineffective, and a communist at heart. That probably should read “because she’s a communist at heart and weak and ineffective.”

Jonathan Hatami, a Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney and former candidate for Los Angeles DA, perhaps expressed best what so many are thinking and very angry about:

I think I speak for anyone who has a loved one who is a Deputy or Officer in LA because clearly our “leaders” don’t care about that. I am thoroughly disappointed in our LA “leaders.” If you are an elected official, you have an obligation to make sure all in our community follow the law. It’s called public safety. You may agree or disagree with the enforcement of immigration laws. But they are still the laws. And, we all deserve to be safe. That means abiding by the rule of law. Going through the process. These “leaders” need to step away from their only care – which is doing or saying whatever to keep their job – pandering. And actually think about the safety of all of us. Disagree, protest, speak out. But do it peacefully. Elected leaders should never encourage violence against law enforcement through social media posts. It’s selfish and irresponsible. They should always state that the public should follow the rule of law and go through the process. What they have said endangers law enforcement and the public.

California Congressman Kevin Kiley (R-CA) appropriately weighed in on Gavin Newsom’s and Mayor Karen Bass’s egregious negligence and legal conundrum:

“If Karen Bass and Gavin Newsom would rather ICE not conduct targeted immigration operations, there’s a simple solution: stop being a Sanctuary City and Sanctuary State. Cooperate with federal authorities and stop egging on violent agitators.”

This disaster, the anarchy, the chaos, and danger to innocent Californians was preventable. It was anticipated. We saw plenty of smaller incidents challenging ICE agents, threatening ICE agents and law enforcement.

As Lloyd Billingsley said, “So no surprise that Newsom, who wants to be president, looks the other way and blames Trump. People across the nation might compare the riots of 1992. Los Angeles mayor Tom Bradley quickly declared a state of emergency and Gov. Pete Wilson mobilized some 6,000 National Guardsmen.”

Leadership.

The rest of the country is paying attention to Governor Gavin Newsom’s failure to lead on an obvious critical issue and political failure. It should be a teaching moment, if Gavin really was a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, the program the self-appointed uber elite Gavin Newsom graduated from.

“The price of greatness is responsibility” Winston Churchill said, and is something Gavin Newsom will never know.

And “However beautiful the strategy, you should occasionally look at the results,”  are words of wisdom Winston Churchill imparted, that Gavin Newsom should attempt to live by.

“Newsom and Bass are proud of what’s going on. They have no desire to stop it.”

Indeed. Don’t forget it, because these are the fraudsters claiming to care about you, but are destroying your/our state.

It must be stopped.
